Paulina Górka, known as DJ Pikachu, brings her lifelong musical journey to the West Coast Swing scene. With a background in choir singing, leading a choir for children and guitar playing, music has always been a constant companion in her life. A long path through
various styles of dance led her in 2015 to West Coast Swing and fully immersed herself in this captivating dance style. Paulina wholeheartedly embraced WCS, becoming an instructor and a highly sought-after DJ at international events.
Paulina’s sets are a reflection of her deep connection to dance and music. She has an innate ability to curate an eclectic mix of energetic and atmospheric tracks from various genres. Her extensive collection is meticulously selected to create an unforgettable experience on the dance floor. With her keen sense of musicality, Paulina takes pride in introducing captivating tracks at WCS events that quickly gain recognition and popularity among fellow DJs and dancers alike.
Paulina has long experience as a social DJ on prestigious events like US Open Swing Dance Championship, Budafest, Bavarian Open, French Open, Warsaw Halloween Swing, Baltic Swing, Berlin Swing Revolution, Westie Spring Thing, Hungarian Open, German Open, UpTown Swing, Winter White, TLV Swing Fest and more, as well as Competition DJ on international like King Swing, Westie Gala, The After Party-TAP, Valentine Swing, Winter Coast Swing, Milan Modern Swing.
DJ Koichi
Assistent DJ
Koichi, a DJ from the US, has been DJing since July 2012. He wasn’t planning to become a Westie DJ, but after a few guest DJ opportunities in 2012, he realized he really enjoyed creating a flow for the dancers while possibly being good doing so. Through 2022, his focus has been US events, working at events like MADjam, Easter Swing, and Wild Wild Westie, becoming known for his late night sets that kept dancers up and dancing all night long. But since mid-2023, his focus has turned to Eurasian events, and has decided to try to expand his influence abroad. He is very excited to be part of the MooseLand Swing DJ team to bring his US-influenced late night DJing!
Olga Ruban
Contest DJ
Olga Ruban is an All-Star West Coast Swing dancer, teacher, and DJ from Ukraine, now based in Wrocław, Poland.
She discovered WCS in 2012 and quickly became a driving force in the Kyiv dance community as both an instructor and event organizer.
Her DJ journey began in 2017, when she volunteered to play music at the KiwiFest Thursday pre-party. What started as a small contribution soon turned into a true passion: since then, she has been regularly invited to DJ at numerous international events each year.
Her sets can shift from acoustic and lyrical to groovy and upbeat. Olga masterfully blends timeless WCS classics with fresh, unexpected discoveries, keeping dancers engaged and inspired. Whether it’s a local party or an international event, she takes pride in creating unforgettable experiences on the dance floor.
You could hear Olga spinning at renowned international events such as Budafest, Westie Spring Thing, King Swing, Baltic Swing, Autumn Swing Challenge, Winter Coast Swing, Bavarian Open, Hungarian Open, Warsaw Summer Nights, and beyond.
She has been the contest DJ for all major Ukrainian events and is now returning to contest DJing internationally.
